Art Nouveau door handle (art-950)

Pair of Q6 Art Nouveau door handles, handcrafted in natural brass with a 40 mm rosette and a 37 mm high x 23 mm wide escutcheon, without a return spring. Made using sand casting, this technique involves creating a mold using a special sand on which the piece to be reproduced is placed. Once the earth has been compacted around the original piece, it is removed and molten brass is poured into the remaining empty space.

After cooling, the mold is broken to extract the rough copy. The next step involves a manual finishing process involving filing, brushing, chiseling, and polishing to achieve the finished product. Since these are handcrafted pieces, there may be slight discrepancies in weight, size, and finish.
