Pine cone end 20x43mm (art-0/9) ART-0/9

Handcrafted pine cone finial in natural brass, 20mm wide, 43mm high. 5 MA threaded hole. Also suitable as a finial for a door handle. Made using sand casting, this technique involves creating a mold using a special sand on which the piece to be reproduced is placed. Once the earth has been compacted around the original piece, it is removed and molten brass is poured into the remaining empty space.

After cooling, the mold is broken to extract the rough copy. The next step involves a manual finishing process involving filing, brushing, chiseling, and polishing to achieve the finished product. Since these are handcrafted pieces, there may be slight variations in weight, size, and finish.
